– Unveiling Cameroon’s Digitalization Program

The first phase of a digitalization program for Cameroon’s municipalities has been launched in Yaoundé, chaired by Minister of Decentralization, Georges Elangah Obam. Championed by the United Councils and Cities of Cameroon and backed by President Paul Biya, the project aims to modernize and streamline municipal services.

Parliamentary honors were held at the Senate for the late Senator of the South Region, Pierre Henri Ngalli Ngoua. The ceremony was presided over by Senator Badel Ndanga Ndinga, representing the President of the Senate. The tribute began with a coffining ceremony at the Yaoundé General Hospital.

– Cameroon Deploys Peacekeeping Contingent to CAR

Twelve Cameroonian contingents have departed for a one-year peacekeeping mission to the Central African Republic. During the arm-taking ceremony, Defense Minister Joseph Beti Assomo emphasized the importance of their role in maintaining peace.

The 8th National Forum on Transparency with political actors was held on Thursday, September 10. Chaired by Elections Cameroon Chairperson, Enow Abrams Egbe, the forum focused on indicators and stakes for making elections free, transparent, and credible.
