President Paul Biya has scheduled the election for Regional Councilors for November 30, 2025. UNESCO: Diy Gid Biy Officially Named World Heritage Site
In Maroua, the UNESCO certificate for the inscription of Diy Gid Biy as a World Cultural Heritage site was officially handed over. The ceremony was led by Minister of Arts and Culture, Bidoung Mkpatt. In response, the local population pledged their support for President Paul Biya in the upcoming elections.
