- Age verification mechanisms may be applied where necessary.
3. Content Moderation and Reporting
- All content uploaded or shared on View Kamer is subject to strict moderation.
- Content that depicts, promotes, or even implies child sexual exploitation is automatically removed and the user reported.
- A clear, accessible reporting mechanism is available for users to flag abusive or suspicious behaviour.
4. Background Checks and Vetting for Partners
- Organisations and individuals partnering with View Kamer (especially those offering courses, mentorship, or career guidance) must undergo background checks and screening to ensure they pose no risk to children.
- Partners must comply with these CSAE standards and sign a Child Protection Commitment Agreement.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
- Children’s personal data is collected only with consent and handled according to strict privacy standards.
- No personal identifying information of minors is made public or shared with third parties without explicit consent from a legal guardian.
6. Education and Awareness
- View Kamer integrates awareness content and training modules on child protection, online safety, and recognising exploitation.
- Parents, teachers, and children can access resources that promote safe online behaviours and how to respond to threats.
7. Community Accountability
- All community members, including moderators and volunteers, are trained on CSAE principles and their duty to report abuse.
- We foster a culture of accountability and vigilance, encouraging all users to speak out against exploitation.
8. Partnership with Child Protection Bodies
View Kamer collaborates with local and international child protection agencies and helplines to:
- Refer cases for professional intervention.
- Stay informed of the latest tools and protocols to fight CSAE.
- Ensure a multi-sector response to any reported incident.
9. Continuous Review and Compliance
- These standards are reviewed periodically to align with best practices and legal requirements.
- View Kamer complies with national laws in Cameroon and relevant international frameworks, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
10. Safe Learning Spaces
- All learning content and engagement features are designed to maintain a positive, respectful, and abuse-free experience for children and youth.
