People who share and publish shocking images of corpses from tragic incidents risk a 3 months to 5 years jail term with a fine of 10 thousand to 100 thousand CFA francs according to Cameroon’s penal code.
Psychologists and sociologists say such shocking content, are risk factor to endangering the mental health of viewers and don’t give honor to the dead.
