Yaoundé to Host the 2026 Cocoa & Coffee Festival From March 26 to 28

The esplanade of Yaoundé City Hall will host the 2026 edition of the Cocoa & Coffee Festival from March 26 to 28, according to a source close to the organizers. The event is organized by the Interprofessional Cocoa and Coffee Council (CICC) in partnership with the Ministry of Trade.

This year’s edition will focus on the theme“Women at the heart of the cocoa and coffee value chains,” highlighting the role of women in promoting these cash crops.

The festival was created in 2024 through the merger of Festicacao and Festicoffee, previously dedicated to Cameroon’s cocoa and coffee sectors, respectively. Presented as Central Africa’s first major public event centered on cocoa and coffee, the festival aims to showcase opportunities in both sectors and promote local consumption of Cameroonian cocoa and coffee, according to its organizers.
