(Business in Cameroon) – Logistics company Touristique Colis et Courriers Express (TCCE-TL) has officially announced the appointment of Mouhamadou Awal Abbo as Chief Executive Officer. This decision follows a resolution by TCCE-TL’s Board of Directors dated July 1. He succeeds Alim Daouda, who had held the position since 2022.
Abbo previously served as Deputy CEO and Commercial Director. He holds a law degree from the University of Yaoundé II-Soa. He also has certifications in logistics and transport from the International Institute of Procurement and Market Research in the United States and the Bioforce Institute in Lyon, France.
Abbo, 45, has spent his entire career within the Touristique group. He joined Touristique Express, the intercity passenger transport operator and parent company of Touristique Logistique, in 2007 as a ticket agent. He then served successively as head of the mail department, central cashier at Touristique Logistique, and deputy delegated manager. In 2013, he was appointed Head of Commercial Services.
Having served as Director of Business Development, Operations Director, and finally Commercial Director, Abbo is now tasked with strengthening Touristique Logistique’s position in parcel transport and delivery nationwide.
Founded in 2008 as an autonomous entity, Touristique Logistique long operated as the courier department of Touristique Express. It specializes in operational solutions for courier services, freight, moving, customs clearance, and forwarding.
Yaouba Bello, who founded the group in 1999 as a limited liability company, chairs the Touristique Express and Touristique Logistique consortium.
