
Camp Rubber Plantation residential area in Tiko subdivision vibrated to the rythms of gubshots early Saturday when Separatist fighters stormed the area to ambush government forces.
A resident narrated that the first witness of the incident was out on his way to harvet rubber when he saw government forces littered around the bushes. But before he could make another step, he was asked to lie on the ground as gunshots erupted.
The separatists shot a passenger of a car that was transporting Plantation workers- her name was only mentioned as Ma Jacquiline. They also shot another civilain on the leg, then killed a government force.
An amateur video shared by the separatists that same August 23, revealed that they seized an AK47 gun and other material from the deceased soldier.
They also warned that civilians being escorted by govermment forces will face consequnces when they attack the convoy.
