Performance : 08.05.2026, Youth Laugh Challenge by Bimoulee Prod

On his 10th anniversary, Ulrich Takam launched the Bimoulèè Laugh Challenge on March 21 — a nationwide initiative dedicated to discovering, training, and promoting young comedic talents through a casting tour and a 15‑episode reality show, now reaching its final stage. Motivated by the desire to “give back to society what it has given him,” the project serves as a platform for intergenerational transmission, a driver of national unity, and a pathway to professional integration through culture. The winner will join the artist’s anniversary tour in Cameroon (Yaoundé, Douala), before the tour expands internationally to Paris and Canada.

The most decisive phase of the project will unfold in Yaoundé as an intensive competition and artistic residency. Beginning May 1, the 20 finalists will embark on a week‑long immersion program. The grand finale will take place at the Goethe‑Institut before a distinguished jury chaired by Valery Ndongo, with Ousmanou Sali and Laurita Ngringeh.

The winners will be awarded financial prizes (1,000,000 FCFA for the champion and 500,000 FCFA for the runner‑up). Most importantly, the overall winner will secure the opportunity to join Ulrich Takam’s national and international anniversary tour (Paris, Canada), celebrating his decade‑long career.
