(Business in Cameroon) – Mobile Wallet, a fintech specialized in software for Mobile Money automated teller machines, has appointed Yvan Tadié to lead its operations in Cameroon. His mission is to structure the rollout of the mobile wallet in this market and prepare the expansion of mobile ATM solutions in several African countries. The company says the appointment comes as it advances operational prototypes and strengthens industrial and technical partnerships across the continent.

Mobile Wallet, which focuses on deploying software for Mobile Money ATMs in Africa, is expanding its regional footprint with Tadié’s appointment as managing director for Cameroon. His mandate includes accelerating the rollout of the mobile wallet in the country, preparing the expansion of mobile ATM solutions in multiple African markets, and strengthening the firm’s partner and ambassador network. Mobile Wallet states that his appointment aligns with its vision and marks a new phase of growth.

After seven years of research and development, the company reports that its Mobile Money ATM prototypes are fully operational and have been successfully tested. This technical milestone allows it to move toward broader industrial and commercial deployment. The fintech aims to offer wider access to deposits, withdrawals, and payments through 24/7 terminals.

Mobile Wallet says it has secured industrial partnerships “meeting international banking standards” with ATM manufacturers, a key step for scaling its solutions. It also highlights technical collaborations with MTN Cameroon. The company says it seeks to expand access to digital financial services through reliable, secure, and automated solutions deployed in a network of continuously accessible ATMs.
