The 15th edition of the Government Action Fair (SAGO) will take place from 6 to 13 June 2026 in Yaounde, positioning public-private partnership as a central lever for Cameroon’s economic emergence. Held under the theme “State-Private Sector Partnership: Lever for an Emerging Cameroon”, the event is designed to strengthen collaboration between government institutions, businesses and development partners in line with the National Development Strategy, NDS30.
SAGO has, over successive editions, established itself as a national platform for showcasing public policies, government reforms and private sector initiatives contributing to economic and social development. The 2026 edition aims to consolidate synergies between the State, private enterprises, decentralised regional and local authorities, and technical and financial partners, with a focus on investment, productivity and sustainable growth.
Organisers have announced several major innovations for the 2026 event. A “Village of the 10 Regions” will highlight the economic, social and cultural potential of Cameroon’s territories, offering regions an opportunity to present investment-ready projects and local industries. A “Careers and Training Crossroads Village” will focus on professional orientation, employability and future skills, linking training institutions with labour market needs.
The “Local Consumption Village” will be expanded to promote Made in Cameroon products, supporting domestic production and import substitution efforts. The edition will also introduce a stronger international dimension, with the participation of partner countries expected to enhance trade and cooperation prospects. Innovation, digital transformation, the green economy and sustainable development will be given prominence, reflecting emerging sectors identified as drivers of long-term growth.
An official public notice has been issued inviting public administrations, state-owned and private companies, decentralised territorial authorities, professional organisations and technical and financial partners to subscribe for participation. Other interested structures are also eligible to register.
The deadline for subscription has been set for 10 May 2026. Registration procedures and further information are being handled by a communications firm mandated by the Government to organise SAGO 2026.
SAGO 2026 is presented as a national showcase of government action and State-private sector partnership, with organisers highlighting its role in advancing Cameroon’s development agenda and reinforcing cooperation between public institutions and economic actors.
