The Goethe Institut Kamerun is pleased to announce its participation in the international Science Film Festival, which will run from 1 October to 20 December 2024.
The festival in brief
The Science Film Festival is a celebration of the scientific community to encourage scientific culture and raise awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues through film. For this 20th edition, the aim is to showcase films from around the world that highlight the theme: net zero and the circular economy in the fight against the challenges posed by climate crises.
For this first participation, two (02) partner institutions, namely the scientific awareness laboratory Science pour Tous (Yaoundé) and The Forest Creative Loft (Douala), will be organising a series of activities to help children aged 5 – 11 and teenagers aged 12 – 16 in Cameroon discover and understand the benefits of science through images and practical experiments.
