As part of the Goethe-Découverte platform, the Goethe-Institut Kamerun presents the concert of Kroon, on Friday 23rd, August 2024 at 07.00 pm at MACBY (Maison de la Culture Bandjoun de Yaounde – located in Tsinga, near SNEC.)
Kroon, whose real names are Praise Kroon Joshua Agbor, is a Cameroonian singer living in Buea, where he is pursuing his young career. The winner of the Goethe-Découverte competition in the “Music-Voice” category is a Cameroonian musician, dedicated to healing and unity through music. He began singing at the age of 3, influenced by his parents’ love for worship songs at home. As a professional, Kroon has been in the music field for over seven years now. The winner of the Goethe-Découverte competition desires to help individuals heal through music and conversations. Also, Kroon’s mission is to harmonize hearts, uplift spirits, and foster a compassionate and connected world.

Initiated in 2015 by the Goethe-Institut Kamerun, Goethe-Découverte is a platform for promoting young Cameroonian artistic talent in several disciplines (comics, music, visual arts, theatre, dance, performance). The winners are selected by a jury of professionals following a competition and receive support in preparing and producing their creative project.
