The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Crafts (CCIMA) is inviting applications from Cameroonian businesses to join an economic mission to Guangdong Province, China. Organised by the China-Cameroon Business Association (CCBA) in partnership with Guangzhou Yando International Trade Co. Ltd, the mission is part of ongoing efforts to expand Cameroon’s trade footprint and industrial partnerships with China.
According to a release published by the CCIMA on its Facebook page on March, the mission will run from 15 April to 5 May 2026. It is designed to provide a platform for enterprises to access the Chinese market, showcase their expertise and present Cameroon’s economic potential. Participants are expected to hold business meetings and negotiate agreements with technical and financial partners across sectors including agriculture, electronics, agro-industry, automotive, textiles, healthcare, services and trade.
Planned activities include company visits, panel discussions and structured business-to-business (B2B), business-to-government (B2G) and business-to-consumer (B2C) engagements aimed at facilitating commercial exchanges and partnerships.
The mission is the first part of 139th Canton Fair, where Cameroon plans to send more than 500 businesses. At a press briefing on February 26, 2026, CCBA promoter Daniel Yando described the fair as a key focus of South-South cooperation and a strategic role in deepening economic relations between Cameroon and China. Guangdong, he said, is widely recognised as an industrial hub, supporting development projects through investments in energy, road infrastructure, telecommunications and port development.
