(Business in Cameroon) – The Cameroon Investment Days began on September 24, 2024, in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon, and will conclude on September 25 after two days of activities. This business and networking forum was co-organized by Cameroon’s Investment Promotion Agency (API) and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). The main goal was to promote Cameroon as an investment destination and highlight key opportunities for investors from OIC member countries.
The event featured roundtable discussions, networking sessions, a mini-exhibition of made-in-Cameroon products, and a company visit. This marks the fourth edition of the Cameroon Investment Days, following similar events held in Dakar (Senegal), Nouakchott (Mauritania), and Banjul (Gambia). Participants included public and private investment stakeholders, business organizations, investment promotion agencies, bankers, and insurers.
“This flagship event aims to significantly strengthen economic relations between Cameroon and other OIC member countries. By bringing together strategic investment players from various markets and sectors, this event is expected to pave the way for new business collaborations and investment opportunities,” the organizers noted.
