(Business in Cameroon) – Cameroon’s Directorate General of Customs, under the Ministry of Finance, plans to collect CFAF100.6 billion in customs revenue in June 2025. The administration’s newsletter says nearly 90% of this revenue will come from the Littoral I and South II customs districts.
Littoral I, which includes the port of Douala, will generate CFAF59.3 billion. South II, covering the deep seaport of Kribi, will contribute CFAF29.3 billion.
Despite ongoing socio-political unrest in the Anglophone regions, the Southwest customs district expects to collect CFAF5.5 billion. The Northwest district will generate only CFAF58.9 million. In the Far North, where Boko Haram remains active, customs expects to collect CFAF549.6 million in June.
Cameroon targets CFAF1,114 billion in customs revenue for the entire 2025 fiscal year, according to the Finance Law.
