Dive into “Au cœur de la calebasse”, a captivating collection of poems celebrating Africa and humanity in all its forms.
“Au cœur de la calebasse” is a collection of poems celebrating Africa, poetry and humanity in all its forms. Made up of thirty poems divided into 3 parts, the collection explores various aspects of African identity, highlighting cultures and love of the motherland. The first part, “Mother Earth”, highlights the cultural treasures of the continent with a series of poems dedicated to African, Caribbean and Antillean writers who have celebrated Africa through their works. The second part, “Mon Écritude”, offers a renewed vision of Négritude, underlining the need for poetry to proclaim freedom. Finally, the third part, “Fleurs égarées”, tackles personal themes such as love, solitude, aspirations and hopes, while highlighting major social issues such as the reality of street children. “Au cœur de la calebasse” is therefore a precious legacy that the author wishes to leave to young Africans, to enlighten them about the realities of life.
