(Business in Cameroon) – CCA Bank is enhancing its compliance and traceability measures, now requiring all of its approximately 500,000 clients to provide a Postal Location Plan when applying for a loan or opening an account. This new requirement stems from a partnership signed on June 17, 2025, in Yaoundé with FindMe, a fintech company that developed the solution.
The FindMe solution, already utilized by Cameroon’s public postal operator Campost, generates a standardized, verifiable geolocated address using digital data via a mobile application.
Through this measure, CCA Bank aims to modernize its operations while bolstering the security of its banking services. The Postal Location Plan is designed to ensure the accuracy of customer data, improve risk management, and reduce fraud, especially as regulatory demands for Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance become increasingly strict.
“The Postal Location Plan meets the needs of serious financial institutions like CCA Bank. This agreement confirms how essential our solution has become,” said Brandon Wanguep, head of FindMe, during the signing ceremony.
Beyond this banking partnership, the initiative is part of a broader national effort led by Campost to digitize and standardize postal addressing across Cameroon. The goal is to simplify citizen identification and support the digital transformation of both public and private services.
The service costs 2,000 CFA francs, payable directly through the FindMe app, which is available on app download platforms.
